Widely regarded as one of the longest and most perfect left-hand barrels on the planet, with rides of 150-300 metres over a shallow reef at the far southwestern tip of Lombok. It became legendary among traveling surfers in the 1990s for delivering some of the longest tube rides ever recorded, but is notoriously fickle, needing a solid SW groundswell to turn on. Expert-only, due to the shallow reef and speed of the wave; the most consistent season is May, during the dry-season SE trades.
