A shifting black-sand beach break with several reef-influenced peaks (The Peak, The Ledge, The Bombie), forming the heart of Bali's most developed digital-nomad-and-surf-town scene. Popular for its punchy, crowded intermediate peaks, Canggu grew rapidly through the 2010s into one of Bali's biggest surf, cafe, and co-working hubs. Best for intermediates and up; best surfed on the SW swells of the May-October dry season.
