A world-class, powerful A-frame reef break at Surfers Point near the Margaret River mouth, producing clean lefts and rights over a shallow reef fed by deep-water channels on both sides. It is the flagship venue of the WSL's Margaret River Pro (Drug Aware Margaret River Pro), a fixture on the elite Championship Tour, and has produced iconic moments such as Josh Kerr's air-driven 2010 final win. Advanced surfers only, given the power and reef exposure; best season is roughly March-October with reliable SW-W groundswells and easterly offshores.

Margaret River Surfing Academy is Margaret River's first established surf school, based at the rivermouth in Prevelly and led by big-wave surfer and registered paramedic Simon Tien. We run beginner group lessons, private and individual coaching for all levels, plus soft and hard surfboard and wetsuit hire. We also offer school outdoor education programs and corporate wellbeing sessions that combine surfing with team building.

We're a small, independent, family-owned surf shop in beautiful Dunsborough, WA, just 45-60 minutes north of Margaret River. We offer fully custom or stock boards designed specifically for the distinct waves of the region, and we specialise in repairs, with a quick turnaround and free colour match. We make all of our own boards in house, and we're also the only stockist of JS boards in the region. We're the core-est local board store in WA, with all the best local shapers under one roof!
