Anza is a reef and beach setup on the northern edge of Agadir, a few kilometres south of Taghazout, with both left- and right-hand waves. The left side of the beach is great for improving, while the right-hand reef picks up the most swell; both are best for intermediate surfers and up. Its consistency makes it one of the most popular spots for surf camps, which bring guests here from nearby towns whatever the swell. On bigger north and northwest swells the reef gets punchy and hollow, and it hosted the 2026 IBC Morocco World Bodyboard Championship. The bigger swells come from October to March; go in the morning, with light easterly winds.
